Meego Basic Questions

Hi Community,

First, I apologize for sending this message to all those mailing lists
but I am totally new to Meego. Actually, I have some questions regarding
Meego and I hope I get them answered in detail:
1. Can Meego be used to emulate different kernel images. if Yes,
2. How it can be used to emulate kernel other than Linux Kernel.
For example, Unix kernels, or BSD kernels? Kindly specify this in detail. if
it is not ported yet to those OS's, Can it be used over qemu specified with
these distributions.
3. I downloaded Meego Notebook. Can it be used to run over qemu on
Non-Linux nor Windows Host?
4. If you specify simple command I can use to run meego over qemu
with specific kernel image (assume it's a.img or a.bin) on non-linux host,
that would be appreciated.
5. What is the best GUI I can use with Meego?

the MeeGo OS fundamentally is build around a Linux kernel, and we use
many features of that in various places.
MeeGo does not try to emulate binary compatibility with any of the BSDs
or others..... we haven't seen the point in that.

now, it is likely possible to use some of the pieces that make up the
MeeGo OS on other posix-like operating systems, but it just depends on
which piece you want...
... and the result wouldn't be "MeeGo" at that point.

Is there any solution to emulate it on non-linux using Qemu or other than
it??
